Shunaka

For a number of reasons the visual novel I've been working on is now on hold. There will be no updates on that project for the foreseeable future. Does this mean I won't be working on the story at all? Not exactly, but when it comes back it will be a narrative story, not a VN. It took me a long while to realize that the VN format was getting in the way of my story telling. There is just too much- stuff- needed to put out a VN; background images, sprites, music, UI and on and on. I grew to hate the process. I can't say I found the furry VN community that welcoming either. I was also frustrated that I could spent literally years creating one story. I have many stories I want to finish- complex stories that just don't fit into the VN format. Anyway, I'm still working on 3D art and will be using it to create illustrations for my stories. I will post those when available along with my narrative stories.

I release a new and major update to my visual novel. The name has been changed from Westbranch commune to 'Children of the Phoenix'. This update includes music, sound effects and a bit of animation. The story is basically the same with some additional pages and graphics tweaks. I'm actively working on the next release though I'm not sure at this time when it will be ready.
